Description
In Crayola Shooter, a child holds a machine gun that is loaded with crayons and stands amidst a field of colourful flowers drawn by children.
Like many of Banksy’s pieces, this one juxtaposes the innocence of childhood against the harsh realities of war.
This contrast is made even more overt by the different drawing styles used: the boy and his gun are drawn in a “grown-up,” realistic black-and-white style, while the colourful background of flowers are drawn in a childish doodling style.
